Review: Darkside CreationsThe BasicsDarkside Creations (DC) is a small latex clothing merchant in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It's site lends itself to a rather unprofessional nature, which shows in some of their products. They do have a plus, though -- they advertize making custom products, especially inflatable products... for those willing to wait. Shopping ExperienceReports of DC customers having a horrible experience shows, as the reviewer ordered a custom-made t-shirt w/inflatable oversized breasts on Feb 15th of 2007. After being promised the design would be done in eight weeks after payment, with photographs of the design, DC missed a mentioned deadline (Anthrocon) and was only able to send the completed design, sans any review, for delivery on October 31st, 2007. Communications dragged heavily and two phone calls were also placed to get information about the commission. What resulted of the commission was... a disappointment to say the least. The t-shirt part was decently made and fit perfectly, although some areas could have had more of the latex rolled and glued. The inflatable breasts, however, are a different story. A different design unlike what was specified was employed, producing a grossly misshapen, and vastly smaller, set of breasts. What would have turned the wearer into a hyperfur instead produces a fur in need of corrective surgery. The only plus is that the latex sheeting used is nicely thick. Further NotesIt is well advised to avoid DC, especially for custom creations. The Details
