RubberFurs and SpandexFurs combined room party at EF14 - Update 2

This year the SpandexFurs and RubberFurs are joining forces and holding a combined party! We've arranged to have two conjoined rooms so we'll have plenty of space for us all!

The day and time of the events is yet to be confirmed, and is subject to us getting hold of a preliminary EF schedule if possible. Rooms will be announced as widely as we can once we're at the hotel (and before if possible).

The party will be Friday at 21:00 - The last information we have is that the rooms are 226 and 227. This may change upon registration at the con, but we shall attempt to convey updated room numbers should this be required!

Updates and Forum

As some already know, new forum software and a new feature providing users with information on the most recent updates on the entire site have been under way for a while now. These have now reached such a level of stability that your web slave requests help in the development of them. Use the site, use the forum, tell  Your Dedicated Web-slave about any glitches you run into, so that it can get fixed.

And see you at the EuroFurence 14 room party! (more info to come later)

Teeshirts, thongs, mugs and parties

If you have ever wanted to be able to show your support for rfo in other ways than simply using the service, we have now created a shop where you can buy yourself a teeshirt, or a mug or a thong if you feel like that as well - please visit the Shopping page for further information.

New featured gallery, plus store reviews

Ladies, gentlemen and those in between, it is again time for a new Featured Gallery! After the vote it was decided to let  Jalen Rawley be the 'roo with the gallery!

Other than that, we have launched a new feature on the website (sorry it's taken this long) - the Shopping section now contains reviews, written by you! The first review is by  The Irate Fox and is about the Canadian internet shop Twist My Rubber Arm.

Anyone of you who wish to create a review, just follow the guide on the Shopping page and type away! Hope to need to make categories in there at some point, so go right ahead and make those reviews! ;)

New and much improved gallery, plus story contest deadline extension!

As you might have noticed, a lot of stuff has happened with the gallery and the site's software in general - for example you almost never see those horrible long URLs any more. This also means that it would be GREAT if you told the webslave about errors you find. So please, simply make comments on this news item if you find any weirdnesses around the site or simply email by clicking on  Your Dedicated Web-slave, going to the Contact tab and writing an email in the text field in the bottom.

Furthermore, the Story contest deadline has been extended to February 1st, because the software needed for it is not ready yet (exams, furmeets and things got in the way of that particular bit of work), so... You have longer to write your stories! Check the Stories page for further information on the contest.

We have a new Featured Gallery! This time the exposure goes to...  Jaypup! Other than that, please don't hesitate to submit your stories to the Story contest - it is running until the 31st of December. Don't be shy, people, any and all stories are welcome! No need to be a new H. G. Wells, J. R. R. Tolkien or Shakespeare, everybody with an idea can write a good story. Short, sexy, long, epic, every-day or anything else you can think of - go right ahead!

In the last while, the theme has been played with a little, things like the gallery has become more streamlined. The use of both gallery and blogging module should now be more straight forward (for example you now have New entry and Upload commands directly in the blog and gallery view respectively, thus there is a click less to perform to add those)

New theme!

In honour of our migration to the brand, spanking shiny new server, a new theme has been created. Much more light-weight, and much more small-screen friendly, i hope you like this theme better than the old one! In case you don't, you can always select the old theme in the theme-selector in the side-bar :)

As you might also notice, there is a little something missing here - we need a logo, you squeaky fuzz-balls! There's a thread on the topic on the forum, but so far not very many have decided to join in :) Please, submit your suggestions, and once we have a few different ones to choose between, a poll will be created for everybody to vote on! :)
